Partial Substitution
Only the methyl-donor portion can be substituted; methionine remains essential for protein synthesis. Excessive reduction of methionine in feed is not recommended.
Substitution Ratio
If 500 g of Vetrabetaine per ton of feed is added, the approximate reduction is 100–200 g of methionine per ton.
